Live Streaming

Multi-site streaming with latency as high as 45 seconds to allow for extreme scalability across YoutTube and Facebook Live. We allow unlimited streaming destinations with the help of castr.io, enabling reaching every audience on their own terms.

Set Streaming

While set streaming can be delivered at low cost and high quality using standard streaming destinations (such as YouTube), this comes at a cost of latency that is not suitable for live production. Using a dedicated streaming server can bring this down to 3-10s, which is still inappropriate for effective collaboration between remote and local creative. 

Autoclave recommends set streaming either via Zoom/other conference software at reduced quality but low latency or the use of our proprietary streaming platform, which works in any modern browser with latency between 2 and 22 frames.

Using existing conferencing software has the benefit of easy, in sync voice communication between remote clients. Our proprietary solution benefits from calibration support (accounting for shifts in colour and contrast depending upon the destination browser) as well as significantly higher bitrate available per frame.
